This long story by Jeffrey written in his Year 4 class work was praised by his teacher for his effort. A hundred years ago, a nameless boy lived in Africa without drinking or eating. In the hot country, the boy was called the boy, he lived in a haunted house.
The haunted house was enormously haunted, the boy was millions angry because he always has to do house work like cleaning the toilet and also has to live in his old boring house. Every day he dreamed of getting out of the death village, and swimming across the Pacific Ocean himself, but the ghost wouldn’t let him out of his terrible haunted house. But the good thing is that he can go swimming in his backyard. The swimming pool was 100 metres deep, but there are even more terrified things about the swimming pool – there are Great White SHARKS!
One day he walked along the edge of the village which is only an Island. Then he realized that he was on a cliff in the middle of an Ocean! He didn’t know which of the third, or second, or first, or fourth, or fifth or even the sixteenth! But anyway, he jumped into the sea for the Great Escape of Death Valley, he swam across the sea, and he was known as the Great Escape of one Family!
But while he swam across the sea he was caught by a giant, ugly, enormous and powerful octopus, he was known as Doc Oct, he was the most frightening octopus in the world.
Suddenly something strange happened – the octopus let go of the boy and swam away into the sea. He swam miles and miles until he found an island, after he walked a few metres and he saw a sign post, it said “Welcome to the Island of Happiness”! The boy was excited he ran into the jungle, and he suddenly stopped because he saw something moved in the bushes, a person wearing a mask came out and he spoke some funny phrases like “hu or u” – it meant “who are you”. The boy introduced himself. Then a whole lot of them came out and took off their mask, they introduced themselves to the boy, they let him stay on the island, and they lived happily forever because they are the happy family!
